  • A British native. Good for shallow water or boggy conditions.
  • Waxy yellow flowers produced in spring. A very ornamental pond plant.
  • A very good bee and bumblebee plant. Avoid the double-flowered form which is not as good for pollinating insects.
  • Dense growth at the margins makes it excellent cover for pondlife such as frogs.
