  • A native wildflower found in dry, grassy conditions.
  • Lilac-blue flowers from May to September.
  • Introduce as plug plants.
  • Primarily a butterfly nectar plant (esp. Gatekeeper, Large Skipper, Small Skipper, Small White, Small Tortoiseshell, Common Blue, Meadow Brown) but will also attract bees and the odd hoverfly and moth.
